Missions Journey: Students – Orange County, California
Karo Ku serves with the North American Mission Board as a church planting catalyst in Orange County, California. He discovers, develops, and deploys Korean church planters. Karo is passionate about planting churches in the immigrant communities throughout the greater Los Angeles area. He sees this as a wonderful opportunity to make disciples of all nations. He is passionate about coffee, so he uses coffee to share Jesus with others. He started Overflowing Ministries, a coffee cart, that partners with church planters to support and connect them with their communities. Karo shares how one of his favorite verses, Romans 15:13, inspires him to trust Jesus and see the God of hope at work. Students will learn ways they can pray for the ministry and will be challenged to find ways to use the interests and abilities that God has given them to reach people with the gospel of Christ.
This fully digital resource contains plans for four sessions, including links to the missions videos, missions project ideas, supplemental activities, prayer activities, and a leader devotion.
